Savings and other benefits are less important in this context. That&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve always put the safety first.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><p>A key component in this regard is the <strong>EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) sensor<\/strong>. Its task is to measure the temperature of the exhaust gases leaving the engine and entering the exhaust pipe. It is a crucial sensor that provides us with information about the conditions in the combustion chamber. If the exhaust gas temperature increases, it&#8217;s a crucial indicator that something is wrong. This protects engine components from overheating and prevents any damage.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-2 fusion-sep-none fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-one\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:10px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:10px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h1 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:20;--minFontSize:20;line-height:var(--awb-typography1-line-height);\">EGT Sensor Installation<\/h1><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><p>The sensor\u2019s tip is placed inside the vehicle&#8217;s exhaust pipe. To install it, it is need to drill a threaded hole into which the sensor is screwed. <strong>The closer the sensor is to the engine, the more accurately its readings will be and show the more accurate the engine condition<\/strong>. Therefore, a threaded hole should be drilled at the beginning of the exhaust pipe.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\"><p>The other tip of the sensor should be connected to the system&#8217;s wiring harness, enabling it to communicate with the Fuel Fusion controller.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-layout-column fusion_builder_column fusion-builder-column-2 class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7\"><p>The principle of operation of an EGT sensor is simple in theory. These components operate on the principle of comparative measurements. The EGT probe consists of two wires made of different types of material. Their ends, form a measuring junction on one end, and terminals on the other, allow for the measurement of thermoelectric voltage. Its value is proportional to the temperature difference at the ends of the wires. This is known as the <strong>Seebeck effect<\/strong> \u2013 if two dissimilar metals are connected, the temperature change generates a measurable voltage. This happens because electrons move from one wire to the other. Their movement amount depends on temperature, so exhaust gas temperature can be determined based on this. Simply put, the potential difference between the two wires allows for the measurement.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-8\"><p>The accuracy of the obtained results is crucial. Choosing a probe that can provide reliable results is a key element in selecting accessories for a autogas system. <strong>When designing Fuel Fusion, we placed great importance on safety and protecting the engine from the risk of damage.<\/strong> Furthermore, the sensor must be resistant to damage, vibration, extreme temperatures and corrosion.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-9\"><p>That&#8217;s why the choice of this component was not accidental.
